Back and stronger than ever, the Northeast Championships will return for its eleventh year at the Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport hotel on December 4th and 5th. For those of you who have been to the event before, there are the expected changes (with games moving on to their latest versions, like Super Street Fighter IV or Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift) and some more unexpected ones (Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and Arcana Heart 3 will be played on arcade).
For people who have never been to the event before, only expect the biggest, craziest and most hype fighting game tournament in the Northeast. Last year, several hundred competitors competed over two days in what was then the biggest tournaments for everything from Street Fighter 4 to Melty Blood: Actress Again on the east coast… and it only continues to grow.
