Arcana Heart 3
Why would the Northeast Championships host a game about little girls flying around? Well, the event will host any fighting game people play — and this game has a dedicated fanbase on both sides of the Pacific. Now just seeing a release in America, the game is expected to only pick up players, and the series has been a draw at the Northeast Championships for several years now (even for Arcana Heart 2, which never saw a home console release).
The game is real test of the “hitbox fighter” theory — where hardcore players claim they would play any fighting game (even if was just a bunch of boxes on-screen) if it was good enough. Well, the game itself features plenty of variety in its cast of characters, a unique movement system that encourages offense, and an arcana system that allows for players to tweak characters to their specific taste.
